Director of Development

As Director of Development, Chris is responsible for Oxford’s pre-development process, coordinating with the Brokerage and Finance teams while working through concept development, due diligence, site selection, entitlements, and ultimately moving projects into construction and execution.  He also continues to directly oversee projects for 3rd party clients.

Chris joined the company in April 2017 as Project Manager and has managed Oxford’s self-developed projects as well as projects for clients acting as an Owner’s Representative. In this position, he was responsible for the overall execution of assigned projects by supplying day-to-day oversight, which included the management of project construction, cost control, schedule, coordination, and communication between the entire project team. Over the course of his career, Chris has worked on major projects with a total value more than $375 million in numerous sectors including office, K-12, higher education, residential, industrial, and healthcare.

Prior to joining Oxford, Chris worked for a Top 100 ENR ranked construction management and general contracting firm where he developed extensive skills in the management and supervision of large technical projects.

Chris is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a LEED® Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.
