As Assistant Vice President of Property Management, Mr. Bodnar assists the Vice President of Property Management in the achievement of Oxford Development Company’s goals of excellence in the delivery of services.
Mr. Bodnar joined the company in 1987, and during his tenure with Oxford, he has been involved with third-party management agreements with such clients as Westinghouse, PNC Bank, Duquesne Light Company, UPMC, Highmark and the University of Pittsburgh.
His overall experience as a team leader includes every facet of commercial real estate management in areas such as budget and financial accounting, vendor negotiations, inventory control, security and emergency procedures, contract administration, construction, and leasing. Mr. Bodnar provides strategic support to Oxford’s Property Management team and assists them with operating and capital budget preparation, maintaining expense controls, planning and reporting, supervision of personnel, lease administration, tenant relations, property inspections, supervision of third-party vendors, assistance in tenant improvement and capital projects, risk management, and property accounting including financial statement preparation.
Additionally, over the past several years, Mr. Bodnar has led Oxford Energy, a facet of the company designed specifically to develop energy procurement strategies, demand response management, energy use optimization, and project management.
Mr. Bodnar received his Accounting Certificate from Penn Commercial and continued his education with Robert Morris University in Accounting and Management. He also earned his designation as Real Property Administrator from BOMA (Building Owners & Managers Association) and certification as a Master Facility Executive from BOMI (Building Owners and Managers Institute).
He is a member of The Society of Property Professionals, BOMA, BOMI Institute, and is an FMA (Facilities Management Administrator) candidate with BOMA and a CPM (Certified Property Manager) candidate with IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management).
