As Assistant Vice President of Property Management, Dave is responsible for the management of five property managers and the overall financial and physical aspects of the managed properties. His duties consist of directing and monitoring the property managers and their day-to-day management of the sites including operating and capital budget preparation, maintaining expense controls, planning and reporting, supervising administrative and maintenance staff, lease administration, tenant relations, property inspections, supervision of third-party vendors, assistance in tenant improvement and capital projects, risk management and general accounting including financial statement preparation. In addition, Dave is the Property Manager for the Butler VA Health Care Center, 218,176 SF Medical Center offering over 20 medical services to Veterans. His duties include but are not limited to maintaining Joint Commission Standards as they apply to medical facilities, and day-to-day property management of the site including financial reporting, budget, and financial statement preparation.
Dave began his career with Oxford Development Company in 1988. During his career, he has managed the UPMC Sports Complex, 190,000 SF of mixed-use properties. The campus consists of commercial office, physical training facilities, and a sports medicine facility for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh football teams. He provides property management for Oxford’s Monroeville Campus – 600,000 SF of mixed-use properties consisting of suburban offices, retail shopping centers, and distribution space for CVS Caremark, the nation’s largest pharmacy health care provider. He also manages the Racquet Club Apartments, a 175,000 SF residential apartment building consisting of 204 units.
Dave is a Real Property Administrator and candidate for Facilities Management Administrator through BOMA. Additionally, he is a Certified Property Manager, an Accredited Residential Manager through IREM, and is a licensed City of Pittsburgh Stationary Engineer.
