Allegheny Health Network on Tuesday hosted a ribbon-cutting for their new, state-of-the-art Cancer Institute at Allegheny General. Oxford acted as Owner’s Representative for this project, joining Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, UPMC East, AHN Health+Wellness Pavilion, and AHN Wexford as large-scale healthcare development projects completed with Oxford acting in that capacity.
Building off a partnership with the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, this new center features Gamma Knife and Gamma Pod systems. In regards to post-diagnosis services, the facility also features a positive image salon, nutritional counseling, social services, financial counseling, valet services, and considerations for family members.
