The Community College of Allegheny County is looking at a campus north of Pittsburgh that will have more space than the one it has now in McCandless Township.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported it’s part of a long-range plan to increase CCAC’s workforce development programs. It is hiring Oxford Development Corp. to study potential locations for a bigger campus, which includes a spot in Marshall Township.

The CCAC board approved $85,000 for the study, but it’s still a long ways off before construction could begin: The Post-Gazette said that groundbreaking won’t be for five years.
