Oxford is seeking to fill a full-time Boiler Operator position at a Harmarville area property, and you can join one of Pittsburgh’s largest property management teams.

We will train an entry-level mechanic, engineering department candidate, or civilian/military candidate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The boiler operator will perform and address all operational, adjustment, monitoring, and repair responsibilities associated with four gas-fired boilers, the distilled water system, compressed air system, condensate return system, cooling tower/pond system, and pond water pumping system. Will also assist staff in maintaining an inventory of working stock and tools.

Onsite training and familiarity with system operations are crucial to this position.

24-hour/7 day weeks via shifts.

Class 4 N.I.U.P.L.E. a plus, or will train a qualified candidate to become a licensed N.I.U.L.P.E. operator while on the job.

The pay rate increases with the level of knowledge, training, and license class.

Working knowledge of boiler operations, cooling/city/fire protection system operations & associated power and hand tools as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics all a plus.
