Oxford seeks a Mobile Maintenance Associate in Pittsburgh, PA, and the surrounding area.
The shift for this position is daylight, 8 am to 5 pm. On-call and emergency OT as required.
This position travels to all Oxford-owned and managed properties as a member of Oxford Development Company’s Mobile Maintenance Team (must have a valid driver’s license). Organize, coordinate, and manage the overall mobile maintenance programs and timely work order service.
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
General maintenance experience, knowledge of light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge. Knowledge of safety procedures is safety-conscious, steady, and dependable. Has the ability to work with the pressure of deadlines and an ability to flex work schedule to accommodate after-hour and weekend emergencies.
Basic qualifications and experience:
• Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of public buildings.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose and perform minor and routine repairs.
• Order parts and supplies/maintain inventory.
• Complete special and prioritized projects as assigned by management.
• General knowledge of computer operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Profound ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Manager, Maintenance staff, clients and contractors.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Complete service requests daily and record service request details via a program for all requests.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
