Eighteen chapters and three individuals were honored with special recognition at the annual Chapter Merit Awards gala, held during the 2013 Chapter Leadership & Legislative Retreat in Washington, D.C.
The awards are designed to recognize the exemplary programs and efforts spearheaded by chapters throughout the year. Chapters are self-nominated for Chapter Merit Awards, and individual winners are nominated by members of their chapter for their specific contributions to the chapter’s success.
