Thomas is responsible for developing and managing projects for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center across its Central Pennsylvania and New York markets. He joined Oxford in 2026 and brings extensive expertise in Joint Commission and Department of Health regulations.
Prior to joining Oxford, Thomas served for two years as a Joint Commission Surveyor, traveling throughout the United States and Puerto Rico to evaluate accredited and non-accredited healthcare organizations for compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Facilities Management, overseeing facility management teams across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachusetts, managing operations for 19 properties.
Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Facilities & Environmental Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 2003.
