As Facility Manager, Tom O’Shaughnessy runs the day to day at The University of Pittsburgh Applied Research Center (UPARC), a 48 building multi-tenant industrial site situated on 82 acres of property owned by the University of Pittsburgh. In this position, he is responsible for the Management of UPARC’s full staff that includes boiler operators, maintenance, security, cleaning, administrative, financial reporting to the Owner, and third party coordination for site work.

Tom started in the Development Department in 1999 where he was responsible for tenant improvement projects and many large construction projects before moving to Property Management in 2004.  He was immediately assigned to the PNC Firstside Center as General Manager until 2006. He briefly left Oxford to handle larger projects out of state before returning in 2014 and has been in Oxford’s Property Management department to the present.

Tom is a graduate of Saint Vincent College.
