President and CEO

Shawn Fox is the President and CEO of Oxford Development Company—a leading real estate development company in the Pittsburgh region that takes projects from conceptualization through leasing to building management. Shawn’s career spans a wide spectrum of professional engagements, including county government policy work, investment banking, and 14 years in the real estate development community.

Shawn previously served as Oxford’s Vice President of Business Development, initially joining the company in 2010. In this role Shawn was responsible for new project development and sourced several large projects, including 3 Crossings, a 20-acre mixed-use development in the Strip District neighborhood of Pittsburgh; The Yards at 3 Crossings, a 300-unit multifamily project; and Hot Metal Flats, a LEED® Gold certified 117-unit apartment complex in the SouthSide Works.

Most recently, Shawn served as President of RDC, Inc., a full-service real estate, development, and construction company based in Pittsburgh. Through a combination of joint venture partnerships and local and national capital relationships, he delivered or acquired several signature assets in the Pittsburgh Region. These include District 15 Office Building (Facebook Technologies), a Class-A office building that sits at the gateway to the Strip; Brewers Block, a 377-unit multifamily and mixed-use project located at the nexus of three distinct neighborhoods—Lawrenceville, Polish Hill, and The Strip; The Foundmore, a 289-unit multifamily development in Ross Township; and numerous other industrial and build-to-suit lease back assets.

Shawn also garnered unique experience prior to RDC serving as Director of Real Estate for Schneider Downs Corporate Finance, LP, a Pittsburgh-based investment banking company that specializes in real estate private equity. During his Schneider Downs licensed tenure, he facilitated the placement of more than $25 million in private equity into multifamily projects with total capitalization in excess of $100 million.

Shawn, a native of Pittsburgh, graduated Cum Laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2000 with a degree in Political Science. He is an active member of the community serving on local boards and non-profit organizations.  He and his family reside in Shaler.
