Oxford Development Adds to WELL Health-Safety Rated Properties with Residential Properties

We’re proud to announce three of our residential buildings have become the first in the Pittsburgh region to achieve the WELL Health-Safety Rating through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). Joining the office buildings in our 3 Crossings campus, The Yards at 3 Crossings, Coda on Centre, and Helm on the Allegheny have all received the rating.

The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all new and existing building and space types focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement, and emergency plans to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and into the future.

“Even though each of our residential communities has achieved LEED Gold certifications, we believe that a continued focus on occupant wellbeing is the best way to keep our residents, as well as their friends and families, healthy and safe during this time of uncertainty. The WELL Health-Safety Rating gave us that right framework to do just that,” said President and CEO, Steve Guy.

We’d like to thank Advantus Engineers again for their help in writing the policies involved and gathering the necessary building data IWBI demands participants follow in the event of other health-related emergencies or events.

With the completion of both 75 Hopper Place and Factory 26 on the horizon, we look forward to achieving the Well Health-Safety Rating for these buildings soon.
